Where We Are?Kanab, Utah's natural beauty provides the ideal location for a peaceful, tranquil, and refreshing retreat. We will be located on 30 acre dude ranch, with a handicap accessible home and horse stables. We also will feature RV sites and plan to build a rustic cabin.
What We OfferWe provide our wounded veterans and their families an all-expenses paid, stress free, one-of-kind retreat that will be remembered for years to come. Kanab is an ideal location because it is a central connecting point to many national parks, as well as beautiful trails and breath-taking views with gorgeous reds, oranges, and purples, as far as the eye can see.
We provide our wounded veterans and their families with the chance to experience all that the area has to offer. We do so by coordinating outings to the many nearby parks and attractions (Utah: Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, Arizona: Glen Canyon Dam, Lake Powell, Horseshoe Bend, Rainbow Bridge, Antelope Canyon). We also help coordinate volunteer/tour opportunities at the largest animal sanctuary in the United States, which is located right in Kanab. Other local adventures include horseback and ATV riding. For those looking to sit back and relax, hanging out on the ranch with our animals is always an option! |
Why?We love our Veterans. We salute all of our heroes that have sacrificed to defend the freedoms of the United States of America. This is our way to say "thank you' and give our military personnel, past and present, a chance to rejuvenate and reconnect with nature and their families.
Will Each Visit Be the Same? Our goal is to make sure our wounded veterans and their families have an experience that is memorable and rejuvenating. Prior to the visit, we will discuss interests and capabilities to customize activities accordingly. Whether looking to get out and explore or sit back and relax, we can create an itinerary that meets the needs of each family.
